M D Benoit is,in my opinion, a writer of the n th degree. Her plot is tight,characterization is complete and very descriptive, and his background and scenery are very intricate. This book,the third in the series,can be read as a stand-alone. I had a tough time putting this down;I read it quickly, and I can`t wait to read the other two titles.
